NEPALI MOVIE NIGHT!

Get ready for a cosy summer evening filled with film, food, flavours and a little taste of Nepal! ✨

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU COME

Please purchase all drinks from the fully stocked bar at Warminster Civic Centre. As the Civic Centre is a licensed venue, guests are not permitted to bring their own drinks into the venue, and any drinks brought in may be removed or confiscated by the venue. Movie snacks will also be available throughout the evening, with the Civic Centre Bar serving popcorn, candyfloss, a selection of tasty snacks and a wide variety of drinks, so you can grab all your favourite movie-night treats and settle in for the evening!

Make yourself comfy!

We want to create a fun, relaxed outdoor-cinema-inspired atmosphere but indoors! You’re highly encouraged to bring your own comfy camping chair, bean bag, cushions or blankets and settle in for the movie! Don’t worry if you don’t have anything to bring chairs will also be provided.

We will be screening Everest (2015)

Everest (2015), directed by Baltasar Kormákur, is a survival drama based on the 1996 Mount Everest disaster. The film follows two groups of climbers attempting to reach the summit, led by experienced guides Rob Hall and Scott Fischer. After successfully reaching the top, the climbers are caught in a sudden and deadly blizzard while descending, leaving them struggling against freezing temperatures, exhaustion, and dangerously low oxygen levels. As the storm intensifies, the climbers become separated and face difficult choices about whether to continue, turn back, or risk their lives to save others. The film explores courage, friendship, ambition, and the devastating consequences of underestimating the power of nature.

Families are very welcome! Our buffet and mini-stall area will remain active throughout the evening, with a selection of activities available for children. Please note that parents and guardians remain responsible for their children at all times.
