The popular Lake Pleasure Grounds (Weymouth Street, Warminster, BA12 9NP) has had new CCTV cameras installed to ensure comprehensive coverage across the park.
Cllr Stacie Allensby, Chair of the Parks & Estate Committee, said: “The Warminster and Westbury CCTV partnership provides excellent coverage thanks to continuous advancements in surveillance technology and the commitment of our dedicated CCTV team.
“This investment continues our commitment to keeping the local area covered and sends a message that we remain focused on keep residents and visitors safe in Warminster and in the Lake Pleasure Grounds.”

Members approved to award a CIL Grant to the CCTV Partnership to pay for increasing the capacity of the NVR Server and to add cameras to the main entrance of the Lake Pleasure Grounds at a meeting of Warminster Town Council on Monday 23rd March.
Warminster and Westbury CCTV partnership is overseen by a working group of representatives from Warminster Town Council, Westbury Town Council, Wiltshire Council, the Army, Wiltshire Police, West Wilts Trading Estate and local businesses
The popular Lake Pleasure Grounds in Warminster remains one of the country’s best parks after retaining its Green Flag Award for 2026/27.
