It was another thriving day for Warminster as thousands headed to the town to attend the “super busy” Warminster Independent Summer Market on Sunday 28th June.
Cllr Jack Jones, Mayor of Warminster, officially opened the event which welcomed popular, established and new traders from across the South West and beyond, from 10am to 4pm.
A bustling atmosphere greeted thousands of visitors with local retailers, pubs, cafes and restaurants creating a buzzing atmosphere across the High Street, Market Place and inside the Civic Centre.

A Warminster Town Council spokesperson said: “Another super event for the town – we are encouraging visitors and residents to keep supporting and championing thriving Warminster.
“Warminster Town Council remains committed to working with the Warminster Business Network as well as the local community to put on super events that benefit all as well as encouraging footfall to our amazing town.
“Next up we have Roarminster – as we welcome five dinosaur models to live here for the summer holidays.”
‘Super busy’
Cllr Jack Jones, Mayor of Warminster added: “We’ve had a fantastic day. All the stall holders and Warminster businesses are out in force. Everyone seems super happy.
“Even with the weather being as hot as it is, we’ve still seen the community come out and show support. It’s been super busy – another wonderful day for the town.”
The Warminster Independent August Market will be held on Sunday 30th August with the Christmas event held on Sunday 29th November and there is still time to secure your stall.
