Warminster Town Council hosted a family-friendly summer celebration at Ice Cream & Bubbles Festival on Saturday 1st August.
Visitors enjoyed a “fantastic atmosphere” at Warminster Lake Pleasure Grounds, with ice creams, desserts, bubble shows and activities for all ages from 12pm to 5pm.
Ice cream choices included gelato from The Cosy Cone, treats from Ice Queen Van and Marshfield Farm Ice Cream from the Pavilion Parlour.

Cllr Jack Jones, Mayor of Warminster, said: “It was wonderful to see so many families, residents and visitors enjoying Ice Cream & Bubbles Festival. The event had a fantastic atmosphere, bringing people of all ages together for a fun day out.
“Thank you to everyone who attended, as well as the traders, entertainers and Warminster Town Council staff who helped make the event such a success. I’m already looking forward to next year!”
Crowds also enjoyed milkshakes, doughnuts and crêpes, alongside food from John the Greek and Rocky’s Pizza, and drinks from The Best Bar.
Activities included pottery painting with Arty Kids, face painting by Hayley Spiller and henna tattoos from Taslima Designs.
The Mayor’s Tombola raised an impressive £500, with all proceeds going to Wiltshire Area Youth Services (WAYS).
Bubbleologists Squidge and Pop entertained crowds with bubble shows and a lively Bubble Disco Finale, describing the event as “such a fun day”.
Families also enjoyed free facilities in the Lake Pleasure Grounds, including the splash pad, play park, lava trail and Roarminster: Warminster’s Dinosaur Trail.
