Junior tennis sessions return to the Lake Pleasure Grounds (Weymouth Street, Warminster, BA12 9NP), this September.
Following a popular summer programme, junior tennis coaching will return weekly from Tuesday 8th September to Tuesday 13th October, with session times for different age groups.
The junior tennis coaching programme is sponsored by Warminster Town Council and Sport England:
- Tots Tennis – Ages 4 to 6: Tuesdays, 3.30pm to 4pm – £24 – 6 sessions included
- Red Ball – Ages 5 to 9: Tuesdays, 4pm to 4.55pm – £48 – 6 sessions included
- Orange Ball – Ages 9 to 11: Tuesdays, 5pm to 5.55pm – £48 – 6 sessions included
Participants should wear suitable clothing and footwear and bring a drink if needed. Parents and guardians should remain near the courts in case their child needs to use the toilet during the lesson.
The tennis courts at Warminster Lake Pleasure Grounds are available year-round and have remained popular since receiving significant investment in 2023.
The site offers five tennis courts and a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) for public use.
The MUGA is free to use at all times. Tennis courts cost £6 per one-hour session, or £40 for an annual membership, which allows up to four hours of play each week. For more details, visit: www.lta.org.uk/play
