There is still time to sign up for the final four junior tennis sessions of the term in Warminster Lake Pleasure Grounds (Weymouth Street, BA12 9NP).
Warminster tennis coach Stephen Marcelle and his team continue to serve popular tennis lessons for all ages, with sessions available each Tuesday.
The Junior Tennis Coaching programme is sponsored by Warminster Town Council and Sport England:
- 3.30pm to 4pm: LTA Youth Tots Tennis (age 4 to 5 years old) – £4 per person, 4 sessions included
- 4pm to 5pm: LTA Youth Mini Reds (age 5 to 8 years old) – WAITLIST ONLY
- 5pm to 6pm: LTA Youth Mini Orange (age 8 to 9 years old) – £8 per person, 4 sessions included
- 6pm to 7pm: LTA Youth Mini Green & Yellow (age 9 to 18 years old) £6 per person, 4 sessions included
Yearly membership
Alternatively, yearly membership to use the tennis courts and pickleball costs just £40 (which allows up to 4 hours a week playtime, bookable in a maximum of 2-hour slots), alternatively book a court for £6 per hour.
Courts have to be booked online prior to arrival. To book a tennis and pickleball court you’ll need to register with the LTA here and then book via Clubspark.
A Warminster Town Council spokesperson added: “The tennis and pickleball courts are one of many fantastic assets in the Lake Pleasure Grounds. We are pleased to see so many people have taken advantage of buying memberships but there is still plenty of availability at our high-spec courts.”
“We welcome all abilities to sign up for a year of using the tennis or pickleball courts – with yearly membership costing just £40 and Wimbledon fever building, it’s the perfect time to join.”
