The Mayor of Warminster, Cllr Jack Jones, is encouraging residents and visitors to join his next community litter pick as part of his commitment to keeping the town tidy.
The event will take place on Sunday 27th September, from 10am to 12pm.
Eager participants can bring gloves and litter pickers although equipment will be provided. Volunteers should meet outside the Pavilion Parlour at the Lake Pleasure Grounds (Weymouth Street, Warminster, BA12 9NP).

Cllr Jones said: “Keeping Warminster clean and tidy is something I care deeply about.
“Residents and the Warminster Town Council grounds team work hard throughout the year to collect litter and I’m looking forward to bringing the community together to help keep our town tidy.
“Warminster is a town we can all be proud of, and I encourage anyone who would like to get involved to join us. Every piece of litter collected makes a difference.”
Cllr Jones is Warminster Town Council’s Litter Pick Champion. He regularly supports community clean-ups, promotes local environmental campaigns, and works with local groups and schools.
The town council also provides free litter-picking equipment for residents to borrow throughout the year.
