Warminster YouthFest, a brand-new festival showcasing activities and facilities for children and young people, will take place at the Lake Pleasure Grounds on Saturday 11th July, from 10am to 2pm.
Visitors can enjoy archery, face painting, den building, crockery smashing, pottery painting, a reading area and garden games, along with free park activities including tennis, the splash pad and the skate park.
Warminster Community Radio (WCR) and Rock out Baby from 12pm will join in the fun, helping create another enjoyable day for the town. Food and drink will be available, including from the Pavilion Parlour.

Warminster YouthFest will also officially launch ‘Roarminster’, a free dinosaur trail exhibition across the town, with roarsome events planned throughout the summer holidays.
Cllr Jack Jones, Mayor of Warminster, said: “Warminster YouthFest will showcase the fantastic range of activities available for local young people. This event is for Warminster’s young people, and we can’t wait for another fun day in the park.”
“The event also officially launches Roarminster, reflecting the town council’s commitment to organising fun community events that help promote our wonderful town.”
Warminster Town Council remains committed to investing in youth services, including free activities in the Lake Pleasure Grounds throughout the year and free-to-attend events.
People are asked to park considerately if visiting the Lake Pleasure Grounds via car by using nearby car parks and not double parking on Weymouth Street.
With hot weather expected visitors are reminded to take precautions and be respectful of wildlife in the park.
