Warminster Town Council: Delivering a brighter, greener future for all

Vibrancy added to Warminster as hanging baskets make welcome return

4 June 2026

Warminster is blooming once again after the Warminster Town Council Grounds Team installed hanging baskets around the town.

The popular hanging baskets have added “so much colour and vibrancy” to the local area including the High Street, Market Place, George Street, Weymouth Street, East Street, Station Road and in the Lake Pleasure Grounds.

The town council has installed more than 80 hanging baskets – as it prepares for vibrant town centre events including the Warminster Independent Summer Market on Sunday 28th June and Roarminster: Warminster’s Dinosaur Trail from Saturday 11th July.

Cllr Jack Jones, Mayor of Warminster said: “The hanging baskets add so much colour and vibrancy to our town centre and help create a warm and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and businesses.

“Small touches like these can make a big difference to how people feel about a place, and they play an important role in showcasing civic pride and making Warminster an attractive place to live, work and visit.

“I would like to thank everyone involved in helping keep our town looking its best throughout the year.”
