The annual tradition of local schoolchildren planting flowers in the Lake Pleasure Grounds returned on Friday 5th June.
Warminster Town Council has invited local schoolchildren to plant in the park since the popular initiative was introduced in 2016.
The town council pays for the plants and encourages local children to get involved in shaping the Lake Pleasure Grounds, taking pride in the community asset.

Schoolchildren from Barney Lodge Nursery, New Close Primary School and St George’s Catholic Primary School were the first to fill flower beds with creative designs – helping to brighten up the park.
A Warminster Town Council spokesperson said: “The Lake Pleasure Grounds is constantly evolving but we are delighted to continue this wonderful initiative working with local schools to plant flowers around the park. We take great pride in maintaining our much-loved community asset and working with the next generation.”
Schoolchildren from Warminster will continue planting in the Lake Pleasure Grounds next week.
