The wet and windy weather didn’t put off visitors to the Civic Centre Autumn Market on Sunday 17th September.
The entertaining and well attended event featured more than 25 local stallholders selling handmade art, gifts, jewellery, cards, decorations and more.
The Warminster Town Crier, the Mayor of Warminster and special guests from Warminster, Pennsylvania opened the event at 10am with a steady stream of attendees creating a fun atmosphere in the packed hall. The feedback from stallholders was very positive with the well organised event widely praised.
A Civic Centre spokesperson said:
A massive thank you to all the stallholders and everyone who had a browse around and shopped at the Autumn Market – it was a great success!”
The Autumn Market followed previous successful spring and summer markets held at the Civic Centre. The next market will be the Christmas Market on 25th November, which is already fully booked for stallholders and set to be another exciting event for the town.
Seasonal Markets will return in 2024 – follow Warminster Town Council and Civic Centre on Facebook to be first in the know and for the latest news from Warminster Town Council.
