Further free canoeing sessions for young people

Warminster Town Council has committed to additional free canoeing sessions for young people in Warminster on Wednesday 28th August.

Cllr Stacie Allensby, Mayor of Warminster said:

We are delighted to offer additional canoeing sessions in the Lake Pleasure Grounds during the summer holidays. The previous free sessions were extremely popular, and we are delighted to put on more as we continue to actively work with young people in the community.”

Warminster residents aged 6 to 17, can sign up to the free 1-hour sessions run by qualified instructors from Wiltshire Outdoor Learning Team (WOLT) – when local participants will be taken out in 2- and 3-seater Canadian canoes. As well as developing paddle skills, there will also be lots of games and fun.

Warminster residents can sign up at either 10am, 11.30am, 1pm or 2.30pm, for up to 20 people each session. The sign-up click here
