Warminster Town Council: Delivering a brighter, greener future for all

Help tidy up Warminster this World Clean Up Day

17 September 2025

Residents and businesses can clean up Warminster as part of World Clean Up Day on Saturday 20th September 2025.

Cllr Jack Jones, Warminster Town Council litter pick champion is supporting the global movement and is encouraging the local community to join in by litter picking, sweeping, scrubbing, weeding and cleaning the town at 10am.

Cllr Jack Jones said: “The local community will be out and about across Warminster for World Clean Up Day on Saturday 20th September.

“The day is perfect for families, schools, community groups, and individuals, with participants encouraged to bring gloves, sturdy shoes, and a motivated smile.

“We already have many dedicated local residents who do regular litter picks across Warminster and we hope this small act of community-led action can lead to even more lasting environmental change.”

Litter-picking equipment will be available from the Civic Centre (Sambourne Road, Warminster, BA12 8LB) at 10am and will need to be returned by 12pm.
