Warminster Town Council: Delivering a brighter, greener future for all

Windows transformed across the town for popular Christmas competition

3 December 2024

Businesses across the town have beautifully transformed their windows for the annual Warminster Christmas Window Competition.

Following the Christmas lights switch-on as well as the launch of a free Christmas Carol Hunt, the festive celebrations have officially arrived in the town with local businesses having fun with the carol theme.

A Warminster Town Council spokesperson said: “This year we are celebrating well-loved Christmas carols, and the businesses of Warminster have done a wonderful job creating beautiful window displays to reflect this. Please support our local businesses by visiting each display. One vote per person, voting closes at midnight on Wednesday 18th December.”

The Christmas Window Competition, organised by Warminster Town Council, is sponsored by Chantry Court, Retirement Village – and thanks to them there are some wonderful prizes including a £100 luxury hamper, a £30 Taphouse voucher and a selection of luxury biscuits.

Votes can be placed either in person at the Civic Centre in Sambourne Road or by completing an online poll. All participating retailers have been issued with a “how to vote” poster for their window or premises, with a QR code that will take visitors and residents to the voting page.

The three displays with the highest number of votes will be announced on Thursday 19th December.
