Warminster Town Council is serving up free tennis mornings for young people in Warminster Lake Pleasure Grounds, with interested tennis players encouraged to register their interest for the first two sessions.
Qualified coaches will be on hand to offer free tennis coaching for all ages on Saturday 27th April (now fully booked for ages 4 to 9) and Saturday 18th May.
From 9am to 10am, free tennis will be available for up to 16 Warminster residents aged 4 to 9. And then from 10am to 11.30am, free tennis will be available for up to 12 Warminster residents aged 10 to 16.

The free tennis mornings will be run by Far Sports, who are LTA licensed coaches, DBS and First Aid trained. To register your interest please email Info@farsports.co.uk, who will then confirm your place on the tennis morning.
Town councillors previously unanimously approved £10,000 for free activities for young people – which have already included popular free canoeing with further canoeing and tennis sessions to be made available in the near future.
The tennis courts in Warminster Lake Pleasure Grounds can be used all year round and continue to prove very popular since receiving significant investment in 2023.
In total there are five tennis courts and a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) for public play. The MUGA is free to use all the time, and the tennis courts are £6 per one hour session or £40 for a year’s membership, which allows up to 4 hours a week playtime.
