Warminster Town Councillor vacancy to be filled by Co-option

28 August 2024

The latest vacancy on Warminster Town Council will be filled by co-option and residents who want to put themselves forward have until 10am on Friday 20th September to apply. Co-option means the existing councillors will vote to decide which applicant is appointed.

Warminster Town Council currently has a vacancy for a town councillor for Warminster Broadway Ward following a resignation. Broadway covers the South East of Warminster (e.g. Brook St, Fore St, Thornhill Road, Deverill Road, Marsh Street, Damask Way, Wylye Road), although candidates don’t have to live in the ward. A town councillor can make a real difference to the community of Warminster.
