Friday 1st August
Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan – piano, Ruth O’Shea – violin & Linda Stocks – cello) play a Café Concert on the first Friday of each month (Feb-Dec) at 3pm at our new venue, Warminster Civic Centre: informal music events in the community, with a pop-up café from 2.30pm where you can meet friends for a chat before the concert.
August’s concert is for all the family and includes music about trains – Little Train of the Caipira, the Orient Express, Chattanooga Choo-Choo…, a helicopter, jet plane, bicycle – and several other modes of transport. Bring a bicycle bell or a shaker if you’d like to join in! Our violinist for this month’s concerts is Sara Stagg.
Concerts last c45mins and entrance (or rather, exit!) is by donation, with a retiring collection. Refreshments – tea, coffee & delicious home-made cakes – are on sale half an hour before the concert.
There’s no need to book, though an RVSP via our website is appreciated…turn up early for best choice of table.
