Warminster Town Council is once again serving up a free tennis morning for young people in Warminster Lake Pleasure Grounds, with interested tennis players encouraged to register their interest for the next session.
The last free tennis morning run by Far Sports on Saturday 27th April was a big success, and by popular demand another free session has been made available on Saturday 18th May.
Qualified coaches will be on hand from 9am to 10am for Warminster residents aged 4 to 8. And then from 10am to 11am, free tennis coaching will be available for residents aged 9 to 14.

Town councillors previously unanimously approved £10,000 for free activities for young people – which have already included popular free canoeing.
The tennis courts in Warminster Lake Pleasure Grounds can be used all year round and continue to prove very popular since receiving significant investment in 2023.
In total there are five tennis courts and a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) for public play.
The MUGA is free to use all the time, and the tennis courts are £6 per one hour session or £40 for a year’s membership, which allows up to 4 hours a week playtime. For more details and to sign-up visit www.lta.org.uk/play prior to arriving at the courts.
Regular weekly junior and adult coaching will be made available soon – with further information to follow.
