Warminster Town Council is encouraging residents to try tennis and pickleball this summer and has reduced the cost to hire equipment.
Tennis and pickleball rackets and balls can now be hired at the Pavilion Café; £5 for up to 4 rackets and 2 balls and a returnable £10 deposit.
Hiring costs have been reduced to encourage residents to make use of the wonderful facilities and have an active summer.

Courts have to be booked online prior to arrival. To book a tennis and pickleball court you’ll need to register with the LTA here and then book via Clubspark.
The tennis courts and pickleball courts are £6 per one hour session or £40 for a year’s membership, which allows up to 4 hours a week playtime.
A Warminster Town Council spokesperson said:
The tennis courts and pickleball courts are a fantastic asset in the Lake Pleasure Grounds.
We want to encourage active use of the courts and have reduced the cost to hire equipment this summer. Grab your friends and try out our wonderful tennis and pickleball facilities.”
The tennis courts continue to prove popular since receiving significant investment in 2023. Currently there are four tennis courts, two pickleball courts.

To hire equipment, visit the Pavilion Café, which is open everyday from 10am to 5pm. Tennis and pickleball rackets and balls can be hired for £5 for up to 4 rackets and 2 balls and a returnable £10 deposit.
A golf putter and ball can also be hired for £3 per person per round with a returnable £10 deposit. The café also has a range of tasty snacks and drinks on sale to keep players refreshed.
