Exciting ‘Ice Cream and Bubbles Festival’ event to be held in Warminster Lake Pleasure Grounds

Warminster is ready to celebrate all things ice cream and bubbles on Saturday 3rd August. The ‘Ice Cream and Bubbles Festival’ will feature a packed entertainment schedule and delicious ice cream and bubble themed entertainment from 12pm to 5pm in the Lake Pleasure Grounds.

Fun will be provided from Squidge and Pop with a bubble show, walkabouts and interactive bubbles sponsored by Farnfields Solicitors.

Lucy Lost-It will be entertaining everyone with her balloon modelling skills and there’ll also be sand art with Marlowe’s Mini Makers. There’ll be bubbles for the adults too with prosecco at The Pink Drinks Van.

Councillor Stacie Allensby, Mayor of Warminster, said:

We are really looking forward to this event, which cements our commitment to putting on regular events for all in Warminster.

We hope this will be another well-supported event for all the family and we are proud to host another event in the wonderful Warminster Lake Pleasure Grounds. We look forward to seeing you all there.”

Refreshments will be available including burgers, loaded fries, crepes, sweets and not forgetting the star of the show, ice cream! In a large variety of flavours and types from ice cream rolls to homemade gelato and whippy ice cream. How many varieties will you try?

There will also be a special Ice Cream & Bubble themed Mayor’s Charity Tombola, raising money for Westbury and Warminster Youth Club and Wiltshire Air Ambulance. You could be in with a chance of winning a bubble machine, prosecco or even an ice cream maker. Warminster Community Radio (WCR) will also be at the event providing music and updates.

The event is free, with no tickets required. The festival is set to be another popular event held in the Lake Pleasure Grounds.

Facilities in the park will also be available to enjoy including the splash pad, putting golf, skate park, play park and lava trail. The Pavilion Café will also be available selling refreshments throughout the day.
