Warminster Town Council: Delivering a brighter, greener future for all

Friendly reminder – pick up after your dog and take pride in Warminster

4 December 2025

Warminster Town Council is reminding dog owners to be responsible and pick up after their dog.

Recent concerns about dog fouling were raised at a Town Development meeting on Monday 1st December following discussions with local businesses.

Warminster Town Council (WTC) continues to work in collaboration with the Warminster Business Network (WBN) to encourage increased footfall into the town.

The town council is therefore reminding owners to be respectful and encourage residents to take pride in our environment, making Warminster a pleasant place to live, work and visit.

The Mayor of Warminster, Cllr Andrew Cooper has also added his support to the campaign and has asked dog owners to help maintain the lovely town we know Warminster to be.

Dog poo bags can be purchased from the Civic Centre (Sambourne Road, Warminster BA12 8LB).

Dog fouling is an offence. A fixed penalty notice for not cleaning up after a dog is £100, which can rise to £1,000 if the case goes to court.
