Warminster Town Council: Delivering a brighter, greener future for all

Fun for all the family as thousands enjoy tasty Ice Cream and Bubbles Festival

More than 3,000 residents enjoyed the return of Ice Cream and Bubbles Festival on Saturday 2nd August.

The family-friendly event was a huge hit featuring a delicious variety of tasty ice cream sprinkled around the Lake Pleasure Grounds.

Bubbles filled the air as popular duo Squidge and Pop proved a real success providing spectacular entertainment throughout the day as well as a brilliant bubble disco finale.

The day was a real treat for all with a new layout for 2025 – the event was even bigger than before with many visitors enjoying the sunshine and embracing the wonderful family atmosphere.

Pizza, a hog roast and prosecco were on also on sale and enjoyed with additional activities including sand art, pottery painting and hair braiding.

The Mayor’s Treasure Map Game was a roaring success with the Storr family winning the top prize a family ticket to Longleat.

Mayor of Warminster, Cllr Andrew Cooper, said:

This was another really special, good fun and well attended event for the whole family in the Lake Pleasure Grounds.

The day was filled with sunshine, happiness, fun and laughter showing, once again, Warminster and its people at their very best.

Warminster Town Council remains committed to putting on regular events to make use of our wonderful community spaces.”

Ice Cream and Bubbles Festival has quickly established itself in the Warminster Town Council events programme and is expected to return next year.
