Warminster Town Council currently has two vacancies for town councillors one for Warminster East Ward and one for Warminster North Ward and residents who want to put themselves forward have until 10am on Monday 9th June to apply.
A town councillor can make a real difference to the community of Warminster. Co-option means the existing councillors will vote to decide which applicant is appointed.

People considering standing are advised to look at the town council’s website warminster-tc.gov.uk/ including the agendas, and minutes of council meetings as well as information about the role of the town council.
The closing date for applications is 10am on Monday 9th June 2025.
Applicants will be invited to attend a meeting of the town council on Monday 23rd June 2025 when a decision on the co-option will be made. They will be given the opportunity to address councillors for a few minutes about why they should be co-opted.
