Warminster Independent Summer Market ready to entertain residents and visitors

The Warminster Independent Summer Market is set to be a huge day for the town with 150 exciting stalls and food vendors in the High Street, Market Place, Weymouth Street and inside the Civic Centre on Sunday 29th June 2025 (10am to 4pm).

Warminster Town Council in conjunction with Warminster Business Network has made exciting changes which includes a new food court located at the top of Market Place featuring multiple vendors and popular bars with a large seating area. Visitors and residents are invited to enjoy the nice weather and a whole day exploring Warminster.

The town centre and Warminster Civic Centre (Sambourne Road, Warminster BA12 8LB) is set to be buzzing with activities throughout the large event with roads closed in the Market Place and High Street. Shops across Warminster will also be open and ready to welcome visitors.

Popular entertainment acts will be located outside St Lawrence Chapel starting from 11am with Imogen Hopwood vocalist, followed by Warminster Community Choir at 12pm, Jane Bennett at 1pm, and Kittens Unplugged from 1.30pm with further entertainment planned at The Old Bell Hotel.

The WAG community shed will also be selling tools for 10p each from The Old Bell car park with money going to charity.

Mayor of Warminster, Cllr Andrew Cooper said:

We are very excited for the Warminster Independent Summer Market – set to be another great day for the town in the sunshine.

Changes have been made to improve the visitor experience as we continue to push forward, grow these events and continue to attract thousands of visitors and residents to Warminster.”

Roads will once again be closed in the High Street and Market Place with a diversion in place. Bus service D1 will run via Copheap Lane, Imber Road, East Street, and terminate at Station Road (facing the Train Station) opposite Waitrose, then onto Boreham Fields to come back to use Station Road, then Imber Road and Copheap Lane.

People are encouraged to walk to the event if possible as parking will be in high demand. Parking will be available at Wiltshire Council car parks around Warminster.

Public toilets will also be available at The Civic Centre (Sambourne Road, Warminster BA12 8LB), Central Car Park (Station Road, Warminster BA12 9FF) and in the Lake Pleasure Grounds (Weymouth Street, Warminster, BA12 9NP).
