Warminster Town Council is supporting new free social tennis sessions every Tuesday, 10am to 11.30am, starting Tuesday 29th April and set to run for four weeks.
The town council will act as facilitators to support the social sessions where players of various skill levels can come together to play, meet new people, and socialise.
The sessions are free to attend, with people encouraged to just turn up at the Warminster Lake Pleasure Grounds (Weymouth Street, Warminster, BA12 9NP) and equipment can be provided.

The tennis courts continue to prove popular since receiving significant investment in 2023. Currently there are four tennis courts, two pickleball courts and a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) for public play.
The MUGA is free to use all the time, and the tennis courts and pickleball courts are £6 per one hour session or £40 for a year’s membership, which allows up to 4 hours a week playtime. For more details visit: www.lta.org.uk/play
