A community litter pick is being held as part of Warminster’s Great British Spring Clean on April 5th from 10am to 12pm.
Anyone interested in volunteering is asked to meet at Warminster Civic Centre (Sambourne Road, Warminster BA12 8LB) with the event jointly organised by Sustainable Warminster and Warminster Town Council.
All equipment will be provided, and all volunteers will receive a free hot drink. The town council is also asking people to notify them if they feel there is a road or area that would particularly benefit from litter picking.

Cllr Stacie Allensby, Mayor of Warminster said:
Warminster residents and the Warminster Town Council grounds team work hard all year to pick up litter. I’m proud to once again support this community littler pick event as the town council continues to maintain pride across our town, making it an attractive place to live, work and visit.
The Great British Spring Clean initiative was launched 10 years ago by the national environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy.
A spokesperson said: “During the campaign members of the great British public join a range of partners – from businesses, big and small, to community groups, councils and politicians – coming together as a network of #LitterHeroes to tidy up the places that we love.”
