Warminster Town Council: Delivering a brighter, greener future for all

Warminster Business Network appeals for new members

20 September 2023

The Town Council is encouraging local businesses to become members of the Warminster Business Network.

The network, which was reformed in March 2023, is a modern version of the Chamber of Commerce and is designed to support growth, share knowledge, and increase local prosperity.

The group was set-up after initial discussions between a group of local businesses and Warminster Town Council.

The network hopes to support growth, tackle key issues and drive forward, with a focus on economic sustainability in the wider town as well as helping the town centre thrive.

The network is looking to increase exposure and capitalise on upcoming events such as the Christmas Market and light switch-on.

Chair Matt Towl, said:

The law of reciprocity tells us the more we put in to helping the wider goal the more we get out if it ourselves. The Warminster Business Network allows us this option by working and networking with other businesses within the town while also working towards a brighter future.“

The group has ambitious plans and there is lots of enthusiasm among the local business community. It is open to anyone interested, including individuals, people who work from home or on the move.

Any businesses large and small are welcome, it is not just about traditional retail and currently there is a good mix of hospitality, services and retail in the network.
