Boats and canoes will be available to hire from the Lake Pleasure Grounds (Weymouth Street, Warminster, BA12 9NP) from Tuesday 7th April until Sunday 12th April, 11am to 3.30pm – with further dates announced shortly.
The boats can take up to four people, £8 for 30 minutes. Canoes are £5 to hire for 30 minutes and can take up to two people. The last boat/canoe out will be 3.30pm.
A Warminster Town Council spokesperson said: “We’ve been working hard to get the boats and canoes back on our wonderful lake. This is just the start with more dates for May and the summer to be announced soon.”
“We are so proud of our wonderful community space as we look forward to another busy season in the park – hiring a boats or canoe offers visitors a unique way of exploring the Lake Pleasure Grounds and is fun for all the family.”

Payment is taken at the jetty (card payments only) and the boats and/or canoes cannot be pre-booked.
