Warminster Town Council has pledged to support a series of ‘energy tea parties’ following a meeting of the Town Development Committee on Monday 9th September 2024. Sustainable Warminster will run these climate change events, providing energy saving advice to residents.
The town council awarded £3,000 to support the first few events planned, with funding to come from Earmarked Reserves – Climate Change.
Councillors requested that a representative, from Sustainable Warminster, to attend a future meeting of the Town Development committee to report back before any further grants were awarded.
