Exciting musical acts including an Elton John tribute act – Forever Elton, and Beatles Tribute act – The Beatles with an A have been booked.

The day is set to finish with a pyrotechnic plane display – Airborne Pyrotechnics, lighting up the sky (full timings to follow). The pyrotechnic planes should be visible from most of Warminster, for everyone to enjoy.

Other features of the event will be 1920’s themed fairground type games – along the lake side – past the boat house. These will be free to use.

There will be food and drink vendors across the park as well as the Pavilion Cafe open to provide refreshments. Boats will also be available to hire on the lake until 6pm and the splashpad will stay open until around 8pm.

The Mayor of Warminster, Cllr Stacie Allensby said:

We are delighted to have booked some great musical acts – with the Warminster Park Centenary celebrations set to be another big event that brings the town together.

The Lake Pleasure Grounds, located off Weymouth Street, Warminster were created after the First World War. The park was opened on the 26th July 1924 by the Marquis of Bath.

Following the sell-out success of stallholders at Spring in the Park 2024, the centenary event is set to be another event that unites the town and celebrates Warminster.
