Warminster Town Council: Delivering a brighter, greener future for all

Free interactive Easter Egg letter hunt around Warminster – crack the code to win a chocolate prize

1 April 2024

The Easter Bunny has been burying eggs around Warminster and has hidden 11 letters inside egg posters around the town.

Warminster Town Council is running a free interactive hunt – which gives residents the opportunity to hop around the town, pick up letters, unscramble them and crack the Easter code.

The competition will begin on Thursday 28th March just before the Easter break and will run until Thursday 11th April.

To take part in the challenge download the Explore Wiltshire app, which will guide you around Warminster, giving users the location of each egg poster in each shop – unscramble the letters and work out an 11 letter Easter word/s.

Once you have collected all your letters – visit the Civic Centre (Sambourne Road, Warminster BA12 8LB) and tell us the Easter code as well as your phone confirmation to collect your chocolate prize.

The first day to pick up your prize will be Tuesday 2nd April due to the Civic Centre being closed during the Easter break.

Each person who successfully completes the trail will also secure entry into a prize draw to win a large Lindt Gold Bunny Easter egg.

To take part simply download the ‘Explore Wiltshire’ App, available to download for free from the Apple App Store: Apple App Store: Explore Wiltshire and Google Play: Google Play: Explore Wiltshire (download the Warminster content and select hunts) find ‘Warminster Egg Hunt 2024’.

A list of clues can be picked up from the Civic Centre if required.

Children will need to be accompanied by an adult during the trail.
