Warminster is preparing to host its biggest ever Christmas celebrations on Saturday 30th November, from 10am to 6pm.
The Warminster Business Network (WBN) in conjunction with Warminster Town Council has finalised exciting plans with roads once again closed in the town centre and a record number of 130 stalls across the High Street, Market Place, Weymouth Street and in the Civic Centre in Sambourne Road.
There will be a mix of the best makers, food producers and old favourites with the independent market open until 6pm, encouraging a full day of shopping and trading across the town. The Civic Centre market will also have an exciting array of festive stalls inside as well as Santa’s Grotto and food and drink available until 4.30pm.

There will also be a packed entertainment schedule which will feature a mix of music including local schools, Christmas carols, solo artists, rock covers and local bands all performing at the top of the Market Place from 10am ahead of the eagerly anticipated lights switch-on at 5.30pm.
The day is set to be a real Christmas celebratory extravaganza with the opportunity for residents to also explore the many Warminster shops and services. Shops will be extending their opening hours, giving visitors the perfect opportunity to purchase Christmas gifts.
The town takes a great deal of pride in its annual Christmas lights switch-on with an exciting atmosphere planned as we countdown to the big day.
