Other features of the event will be 1920’s themed fairground type games – along the lake side – past the boat house. These will be free to use from 4pm.
There will be food and drink vendors across the park as well as The Pavilion Café open to provide refreshments.
The Mayor of Warminster, Cllr Stacie Allensby said: “We are delighted to have booked some great musical acts – with the Warminster Park Centenary celebrations set to be another big event that brings the town together. We can’t wait to celebrate 100 years of the park with everyone.”
Residents are encouraged to walk to the event (if possible), as there will be strictly no parking in the Lake Pleasure Grounds due to safety reasons. However, there will be parking available at Wiltshire Council car parks around Warminster.
Visitors are welcome to bring their own chairs and picnic blankets to spread out around the park and enjoy the celebrations from various points across the Lake Pleasure Grounds, however chairs and picnic blankets must not block paths.
A reminder, tickets are required for this event. If you won’t use the tickets you have booked, please cancel your excess tickets to help us ensure that as many people as possible can attend the event.
