Warminster Town Council: Delivering a brighter, greener future for all

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…

21 November 2025

Christmas trees will light up businesses around the town at the Warminster Independent Christmas Market and Lights Switch-on 2025 on Saturday 29th November 2025.

If you are a business (with a Christmas Tree holder) and wish to be included by displaying a tree you can still join in the switch-on at 5.30pm in the Market Place.

The cost of the purchase and erection of a five-foot non-drop Nordmann Fir tree, adorned with white lights, is £40. We will provide you with a VAT invoice upon receipt of your order, if requested.

Local businesses also still have time to register for the annual Warminster Town Council Christmas Window Competition ahead of its launch on Saturday 29th November.

The window displays generate a lot of positive publicity and entice people to visit the town for their Christmas shopping. Prizes this year include a selection of luxury hampers.

For more information on either a tree or the competition contact Warminster Town Council for more information via 01985 214847 or email admin@warminster-tc.gov.uk
