Warminster Town Council: Delivering a brighter, greener future for all

Popular Warminster Independent Markets to return in 2026

12 December 2025

Quarterly Warminster Independent Markets will return in 2026 with four dates announced.

The events continue to grow in popularity and aim to bring thousands of people to our town, promoting Warminster as a destination to visit as well as promoting our fantastic local businesses and a brilliant selection of stallholders.

The Warminster Business Network in conjunction with Warminster Town Council will once again work together, roads will be closed in the town centre with a rich variety of stalls across the High Street and Market Place and in the Civic Centre in Sambourne Road.

Applications will be considered on an individual basis, based on the products sold and the overall balance and variety of items available at the market.

The Mayor of Warminster, Councillor Andrew Cooper, said:

We remain committed to creating well organised markets that attract thousands of visitors to our town.

Warminster continues to thrive. If you don’t support the High Street, the High Street will disappear. We have seen the reverse – we are bucking the trend and the independent markets are really helping with that.”

Applications are now open for stalls at the Warminster Independent Spring Market on Sunday 29th March and the Warminster Independent Summer market on Sunday 28th June.

Applications are particularly welcome from local businesses.

Warminster Independent Market 2026 dates:

  • Sunday 29th March
  • Sunday 28th June
  • Sunday 30th August
  • Sunday 29th November
