The Warminster Lake Pleasure Grounds filled with a buzzing atmosphere as the local community supported Spring in the Park 2026 on Sunday 3rd May.
The Warminster Town Council event, held from 10.30am to 4pm, featured a brilliant entertainment schedule with a popular fun dog show (in association with Garston Vets and Charismatic Pets) as well as performances from Rock Choir, The Slips Duo and The Athenaeum Masqueraders who entertained large crowds by the bandstand.
New popular features grabbed the crowds including a mechanical rodeo bull competition won by Alex as well a new ‘Splat the Alien’ fun game – which gave visitors to change to throw wet sponges at a willing group of volunteers.

The rain stayed away, keeping a lovely vibe for all visitors as well as raising lots of money for local charities.
A Warminster Town Council spokesperson said: “Another great day for Warminster. These events keep getting better and our town continues to thrive – today was a great advertisement of what the Warminster community offers.
“The day raises a huge amount for charity and community groups. Thank you to all the stallholders, vendors, staff and the public for another spectacular event.
“We remain rightly very proud of the Lake Pleasure Grounds and using the space to benefit the whole community. Warminster Town Council will continue to host regular events for Warminster that are free to attend and can be enjoyed by all.”
Boats and canoes were available to hire and were enjoyed by all ages, joining the action on the water with the Warminster Model Boat Club.
Park Yoga Warminster hosted its first free yoga session prior to the event, with the large play park and splash pad popular throughout the day.
The Warminster Lake Pleasure Grounds will continue to host fun free events in 2026 including Youth Fest, Ice Cream & Bubbles Festival and Pumpkins in the Park.
