Free to attend Park Yoga sessions are coming to Warminster Lake Pleasure Grounds (Weymouth Street, Warminster, BA12 9NP) with residents and visitors invited to stretch, strengthen and unwind from May to September, starting on Sunday 3rd May, from 9.30am to 10.30am.
Warminster Town Council is committed to supporting activities and encouraging the use of our community spaces – with the introduction of Park Yoga joining other free activities in the Lake Pleasure Grounds such as wall climbing, archery and skatepark events, with more details to be shared shortly.

Cllr Jack Jones, Deputy Mayor of Warminster, said: “Providing positive activities is essential for the health and wellbeing of our community. These sessions give residents the chance to learn new skills, stay active and spend time outdoors while connecting with others in the town. It’s fantastic to see such a varied programme continuing to develop in Warminster.”
Cathi Farrer-Mitchell, Director of Park Yoga explained: “As a charity we want Park Yoga to be as accessible as possible, there’s no need to book and it’s free to attend.
“Last year 31% of our participants had never done yoga before, so you won’t be alone if you’re new to yoga. You don’t need any specific equipment, just a yoga mat if you have one, but if not a blanket or towel works perfectly. Come along and give it a go, you won’t regret it!”
Yoga classes will still go ahead in light rain, should the weather be particularly wet, participants will be informed of a class cancellation with at least an hour’s notice via the Park Yoga Warminster page on Facebook and the Park Yoga website.
