Each year, Warminster Town Council shows its commitment to support local charities and organisations from the Warminster community. Grants are awarded to schemes, projects and activities that bring a directly positive impact upon the local community.
The council has, in recent years, made grants to numerous organisations who work tirelessly to directly benefit the people of the Warminster area. Projects and schemes have previously included: wildlife projects, action groups, local music groups, those who offer support and therapy to families and community advice as well as grants benefitting local sports and disability groups.
Organisations may only apply for one grant in any single council year. The town councillors can award grants up to £2,500 per group.
The deadline date for submitting applications is Friday the 12th of June 2023. The applications will be considered at the Finance and Audit meeting scheduled on the 26th of June. Payments will be made as soon as possible once the grant has been approved.
