18 January 2024

Warminster Town Council has strengthened its commitment to maintaining and investing in its assets, by approving funding for new play park equipment.

Following a decision at Full Council meeting on Monday 15th January the 30-year-old plus play park equipment in the Lake Pleasure Grounds will be replaced (as it is at the end of its life cycle) and improved with impressive new equipment in Spring 2024.

Cllr Fraser said:

It is a long-term investment. The design chosen offers the best play value and we are most satisfied with the equipment’s ability to stand up to the use expected in the Lake Pleasure Grounds.”

Council officers carried out a detailed review of all play areas and presented their findings to members of the Parks and Estate Committee along with budget costs.
