David Carpenter: An exhibition of Wiltshire landscapes

Well-known local artist, David Carpenter, will be displaying hilatest paintings at the Athenæum; David is a landscape painter with a passion for ‘en plein air’ (painting outdoors). Painting predominantly in oils, he alternates between rural views to city streets.

With an art training in Spatial Design, David’s career as a concept designer and visualiser sees him working on experiential events for companies such as Google, Netflix and Pinterest amongst others, using the latest 3D software. Following a move from London to Wiltshire, he looked to return to his artistic roots through traditional painting and a with love of creating environments, landscape painting has become his area of exploration.

The exhibition will be on between 30th August and 5th September during Box Office opening hours (10:30-1:00pm) and through to 4:00pm during the Street Market on Sunday 31st August. The works on display will feature the Wiltshire countryside.”
