Warminster Town Council has teamed up with world famous Longleat Safari Park to put on a summer holiday letter trail in Warminster. The stars of the park have appeared in 14 posters in businesses across the town centre. To take part in the challenge, simply download the ‘Explore Wiltshire’ App, available to download for free from the Apple App Store: Explore Wiltshire, and Google Play: Explore Wiltshire. Download the Warminster content and select “Hunts”, then find ‘Longleat Safari letter trail’, which will guide users around the town and to the location of each animal poster. You’ll need to note down each letter! Alternatively, pick up a paper copy of the trail from the Civic Centre, open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4:30pm.
Each poster gives a letter; once you have collected all the letters, unscramble them to work out the Longleat phrase – visit the Civic Centre (Sambourne Road, Warminster BA12 8LB) and tell us the answer, as well as showing confirmation on your phone of completing the trail or show us your completed paper copy. One entry per family.
Each correct entry will receive a Longleat charm keyring (subject to availability) and one lucky correct entry will secure a VIP Bronze Safari for up to six people!
The competition will run until Monday 2nd September and the winner will be announced on Tuesday 3rd September.

It’s so exciting to be working with Longleat on activities which will particularly appeal to young people. What animal would you choose to see even closer?”
Simon Askew, Interim Chief Operating Officer at Longleat, said: “We really hope people enjoy the trail around the town. Many local people who work at Longleat live in Warminster and we know our guests also stay or dine in the local area so we are very much part of the local community.”
