Spend an afternoon with renowned geologist, Professor Alan R Butcher, who will take you on an inspirational journey through 4.5 billion years of Earth history – including an explanation of the geology around Warminster and what it can tell us about the ancient oceans that once existed, the animals that lived in them, and how extreme climate change led to mass extinctions! No previous knowledge required! Includes hands-on examination of rocks, minerals and fossils through the ages.
