Trio Paradis Monthly Café Concert: Myths & Magic
From Greek Gods to Ghosts

Friday 3rd October

Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan – piano, Ruth O’Shea – violin & Linda Stocks – cello) play a Café Concert on the first Friday lunchtime of each month (Feb-Dec) at 3pm at St Lawrence Chapel: informal music events in the community, with a pop-up café from midday where you can meet friends for a chat before the concert.

This month’s programme is inspired by spirits and creatures of legend, including a mermaid, a water sprite, elves, a Greek God and a ghost. Music by Handel, Gershwin, Henriette Renié, Rebecca Clarke and William Bolcom.

Concerts last c45mins and entrance (or rather, exit!) is by donation, with a retiring collection. Refreshments – tea, coffee & delicious home-made cakes – are on sale half an hour before the concert.

There’s no need to book, though an RVSP via our website is appreciated… turn up early for best choice of table.
