It is just a few weeks away from popular family friendly event Spring in the Park 2024 – set to be the biggest yet when it returns to the Warminster Lake Pleasure Grounds from 10.30am to 4pm on Sunday 5th May.
The event will allow visitors to enjoy traditional maypole dancing, music performances and a host of other activities and competitions including donkey rides, a fun dog show and tug of war event.
The action-packed day will feature more than 80 stalls, set to sell a variety of gifts, crafts, accessories and sweet treats as well as glitter face painting and hair braids.

There will also be some animals to meet at the petting farm as well as donkey rides – sponsored by Farnfields Solicitors.
The fun dog show will be sponsored by Garston Veterinary Group & Charismatic Pets, with dog owners able to sign up on the day and enter their furry friends into competition with several fun categories.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy archery, boating on the lake and if you’re feeling competitive enter a team in the tug of war competition – sponsored by Lit Fibre, to be in with a chance of winning £50. Register your team of 5 (over 16s only) at admin@warminster-tc.gov.uk.

We can’t wait to see Warminster residents come out and support another big event for the town and a wonderful day out for all the family.”
Local organisations and charities will have fun fair games and activities to keep people entertained and a caricaturist will be on site capturing families and pets as a memento of the day. For refreshment there will be a number of delicious food stalls available as well as a couple of local bars.
