The Warminster Splash Pad in Lake Pleasure Grounds will reopen on Saturday 27th April with canoeing also returning to the lake, with even more activities now available for families to enjoy.

The Splash Pad boasts several water features and has attracted thousands of visitors since it opened in 2022. Canoeing and rowing will also return, with tickets available from the café costing £6 for rowing boats and £4 for canoes for 30 minutes, 11am to 4pm.

Cllr Stacie Allensby, the Deputy Mayor, said:

The Lake Pleasure Grounds are loved by the people of Warminster. The reopening of the Splash Pad as well as boating on the lake will add to the many happy memories created in the park. We encourage visitors to come and explore the park with something for everyone.”

If a regular nappy splits the tiny beads will enter the filtration system and result in the complete closure of the Splash Pad. Swimming nappies are designed for water use and keeping accidents at bay. The splashpad will be open from 10am until 5pm for all to enjoy if everyone follows the rules.

Swim nappies are available from shops, supermarkets, online or from the Pavilion Café in the Lake Pleasure Grounds.

Food and drink must not be consumed on the Splash Pad, there are picnic benches nearby. Pets, scooters, bicycles, and anything that might damage the safety surface are not allowed.
