Warminster Town Council is launching a brand-new festival highlighting the activities and facilities available for children and youths in the town.
Warminster YouthFest joins an exciting summer schedule in the Lake Pleasure Grounds (Weymouth Street, Warminster, BA12 9NP) and will be held on Saturday 11th July, 10am to 2pm
Visitors will be able to take part in archery, face painting, an obstacle course, den building, crockery smashing, arts and crafts as well as free activities in the park including free tennis and boats on the lake alongside the splash pad and skate park.

The Warminster Model Boat Club and Warminster Community Radio (WCR) will also be joining in the fun, creating another enjoyable day for the town. Food and drink will also be on sale, alongside the popular Pavilion Parlour.
Warminster YouthFest will also officially launch ‘Roarminster’ – a fun free dinosaur trail exhibition across various locations in the town and roarsome events scheduled throughout the summer holidays.
Cllr Jack Jones, Mayor of Warminster said: “We’re so excited to add another event for the local community. Warminster YouthFest will highlight the amazing variety of activities available for local people.
“The new event also officially launches Roarminster – as the town council remains committed to organising fun events for the local community that also increase exposure of our wonderful town. This new event is for the youth of Warminster, and we can’t wait for another fun day in the park.”
Warminster Town Council remains committed to investing in youth services, which includes free activities in the Lake Pleasure Grounds throughout the year as well as free to attend events.
