As part of the Warminster Neighbourhood Plan review, held earlier in the year, Warminster Town Council invited residents and those who work in the town the opportunity to put forward their key issues and priorities for Warminster over the next 20 years. In addition, to members of the public being asked to complete a short survey, a drop-in event for invited stakeholders was also held for them to submit their thoughts and opinions.

Thanks must go to all those members of the community who took the time to give their feedback, all comments have been collated and will help to develop a shared vision for the town. Feedback focused upon three key areas: highlighting what the community values, matters of interest that should be protected and strengthened and those areas that should be considered for review and development.
The next step in the review process is for the Town Council to assemble working groups consisting of interested people from the local community who will look into different topics in more detail. The four main topics will be:
- Housing and Communities
- Economy and Town Centre
- Environment, Heritage and Design
- Getting Around
If you feel you could make a positive contribution towards the future vision of Warminster and would be interested in becoming a member of the steering group, please get in touch. We would also like to hear from anyone who would be willing to gather local evidence to update our existing policies and create new draft planning policies. To register your interest please email admin@warminster-tc.gov.uk or telephone 01985 214847
