Cllr Stacie Allensby, the Deputy Mayor, said:

Warminster Town Council is reminding visitors it is vital that users follow the safety rules stated on the signage in the splashpad area. The first being that all children must wear costumes and infants must wear a swim nappy.
If a regular nappy splits the tiny beads will enter the filtration system and result in the complete closure of the Splash Pad. Swimming nappies are designed for water use and keeping accidents at bay. The splashpad will be open from 10am until 5pm for all to enjoy if everyone follows the rules.
Swim nappies are available from shops, supermarkets, online or from the Pavilion Café in the Lake Pleasure Grounds.
Food and drink must not be consumed on the Splash Pad, there are picnic benches nearby. Pets, scooters, bicycles, and anything that might damage the safety surface are not allowed.
