Warminster u3a Monthly Meeting – The Life of a Prison Governor by Tony Robson

Wednesday 26th June, 2pm, Warminster Civic Centre, entry £3.00 including tea, coffee and biscuits

What do you know about prisons? Is your only knowledge of prison life drawn from ‘Porridge’ or ‘The Governor’? Learn about some of the realities of prison life through this enlightening talk on Tony’s experiences from 27 years of working in the prison service, including stints as Governor at HMP Rochester, HMP Standford Hill and HMP Swaleside.  Tony will talk about the highlights and occasional lowlights of his career as well as some of the prisoners he encountered and the incidents he was involved with.
