The Golden Age of Radio with Roger Browne

Roger is a professional raconteur, writer, director, and pianist. He has appeared in jazz clubs around the world and provided accompaniment for many legends such as Stephane Grappelli, Wild Bill Davison, Scott Hamilton, Humprey Lyttleton, George Melly, and many more. This talk covers various aspects of entertainment from the post-war years, including fascinating historical facts, hilarious anecdotes, and live piano playing. You will also hear how many modern radio and TV programmes draw their inspiration from the creators of these innovative broadcasts.
